We would love to have you join us anytime.

Please dress in whatever way is most comfortable to you. Our service is casual, and we invite you to come as you are. We desire to be honest and transparent, and hope you will feel welcomed and loved by God as well as others in the church, where you will see people from all walks of life.

We meet Sunday mornings at 10:00am, at 3150 E. Ft. Lowell Road at the southeast corner of Country Club and Ft. Lowell Road.

By about 9:40am there is coffee ready and greeters to welcome you. The greeters will give you a bulletin and a packet with information about us and a free CD of Vineyard music. Infants and toddlers can be dropped off at our nursery before the service, if you’d like. Please sign your children in at the registration desk, where you will receive instructions on how the check-in/check-out  process works. The protection and comfort of your children is our first concern. Older children (elementary through high school) join the adults for the first part of the service.  After worship, students from K-6th grades are dismissed to Kids’ Church.  Youth group (7th grade through high school) meets the first and third Sundays of the month, also following worship.  We know that it can be hard to send your kids off to a separate class when you first visit a church, so if you’d prefer to keep them with you during the teaching, please feel free to do so.

Our service begins with about a half-hour of worship, led by our worship band. Words are projected on a screen. Our hope is that during this time you will experience God’s love and, if comfortable, reach out to Him with your own expressions of worship.

Next we have announcements, followed by a short break to give a moment to meet people.

After the break, we have a teaching that comes from the Bible. Our focus is on Jesus: what He did and said when He lived on the earth, and what He wants to do today. We try to limit jargon, although there is some terminology to learn. We seek to apply the Bible to our everyday lives, but we are not trying to be trendy. We just want to understand more of the Bible and apply it!

Once a month, the teaching is followed by communion, which is open to anyone who is a follower of Jesus, regardless of church background.

At the end of the service, we usually offer personal prayer for anyone who desires it.  You are welcome to ask for prayer for any need you have, or for something God may have put on your heart that morning.  Sometimes there might be something specifically from the teaching that impacted you, for which you’d like prayer.  Whatever your need is, please don’t leave without asking someone to pray for you!  Many of the men and women who attend Vineyard City Church are trained in prayer ministry; someone is sure to be able to direct you to an appropriate person.

Please check out the Sunday bulletin for information about classes, small groups, or other events that may be of interest to you, and may help in the decision process about continuing to come to Vineyard City Church.  You will also find much information on this website.
